Cartoon zum Thema Antisemitismus

Laughing about anti-Semitism, is that allowed? With the cartoon book "#Antisemitism for Beginners", Ariella-Verlag dares this experiment. The cartoons and satirical texts aim to expose anti-Semitism to ridicule and encourage people to think about stereotypes.

Myriam Halberstam, who founded the Ariella publishing house for Jewish children's books in 2010 and published the book "#Antisemitismus für Anfänger - Eine Anthologie" in 2020, will lead the workshop in German. She presents cartoons and texts by well-known cartoonists from Germany, Israel and the USA.

The workshop opens up a space for learning, exchanging ideas and thinking together. Afterwards, we invite you to continue and deepen the discussions - over a small snack. Participation is free of charge.
